COVID PROTOCOL

We are located in an idyllic little riverside village, far from crowds and off the beaten tourist path. Yet, we are just half an hour away from Kochi Airport and only a 45 minute drive from Kochi City. We have just 7 rooms on a sprawling property with 150 meters of riverfront and wide open spaces. All our staff are vaccinated. They reside in our staff-home adjoining the resort or in the immediate vicinity of the resort. Since we are located in a small village far from the city, there is minimal social contact with the outside. Separate sanitized tables allocated for the exclusive use of each room in the dining area for the entire duration of stay. We keep a minimum of one day reserved for sanitization and airing of rooms after guests check out. Our check-in and check-out are contactless through softcopies of guest ID’s shared with us by email/ message before check-in and through e-Invoicing and e-Payment. Out rooms are individually air-conditioned with airy French-windows and open courts in the bathrooms.

  • Wide open spaces and just 7 rooms in a sprawling property.

  • Separate sanitised tables allocated for the exclusive use of each room in the dining area for the entire duration of stay.

  • One day reserved for sanitisation and airing of rooms after guests check out.

  • All staff reside in staff-home adjoining the resort or in the immediate vicinity of the resort. Since we are located in a small village far from the city, there is minimal social contact with the outside.     

  • Hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) and thermal screening are mandatory for entrance to the property.

  • Only asymptomatic staff and guests are allowed into the property.

  • Contactless check-in through softcopies of guest ID’s shared with us by email/ message before check-in. Contactless check-out through e-Invoicing and e-Payment.

  • Face cover/masks have to be worn for entry to the property and at all times in common areas/ lawns/ poolside etc.

  • Welcome drinks shall be placed in rooms.

  • Staff will be wearing masks, gloves and safety gowns at all times in public areas.

  • Separate entrance and exits for guests and staff.

  • Maintaining physical distance of a minimum of 6 feet inside the property.

  • Hand sanitizers are kept at the reception and in all rooms for guests to use.

  • Luggage disinfected before sending the luggage to rooms.

  • Guests who are at higher risk i.e. those who are older, pregnant or those who have underlying medical conditions are advised to inform the reception so our staff can be advised to take extra precautions.

  • All government guidelines issued for restaurants & hotels shall be followed.

  • Seating arrangement in the restaurant and common areas is made in such a way that adequate social distancing is maintained.

  • Instead of cloth napkins, use of good quality disposable paper napkins

  • Contactless mode of ordering and digital mode of payment (using e-wallets).

  • Contactless food and beverage ordering through intercom/ mobile phone.

  • Deep cleaning of all washrooms is ensured at regular intervals.

  • For air-conditioning/ventilation, the guidelines of CPWD are followed which inter alia emphasises that the temperature setting of all air conditioning devices should be in the range of 24-30 degrees C, relative humidity should be in the range of 40 - 70%, intake of fresh air should be as much as possible and cross ventilation should be adequate.

  • Cleaning and regular disinfection (using 1% sodium hypochlorite) of frequently touched surfaces (door knobs, benches, washroom fixtures, remote-control devices, electrical switches, phone etc.) are ensured.

  • Staff required to regularly wash hands.

  • Regular temperature checks for staff.

  • Individually wrapped toiletries.
